This museum has exhibitions of weapons, horse-riding equipment, classical scripts, arts & crafts that give us glimpses of the Hyakumangoku Samurai class culture of Kaga's . These artifacts were treasured by generations
of the Honda Family, which functioned as the chief retainer house of the Kaga clan and said to have had
an income of 50,000 Koku (rice bushels) during the Edo Period.
