07 金沢能楽美術館 Kanazawa Noh Museum

Enjoying the profound world of Noh
This museum stands at the former site of the Noh theater, Hirosaka, and exhibits valuable items of the Kaga Hōshō school such as Noh masks and costumes.
Kaga Hōshō school is designated as an intangible cultural asset of Kanazawa, and Noh is registered as an intangible cultural asset by UNESCO. This museum aims to hand down the valuable artifacts and traditional performances of Noh to future generations. You can try on a mask and costume for a commemorative picture on the first floor wirhout a reservation.
