Home of literature
The hall, which has been designated as a historical building to be preserved and as a national tangible cultural asset, is familiar to local residents as a landmark near Asanogawa-ohashi Bridge. Belongings and manuscripts of Hiroyuki Itsuki, a writer with a connection to Kanazawa, and books that have been awarded the Izumi Kyoka prize are on exhibit here. The hall is used as a venue for literary activities.

Adults ¥100/ High school students or younger: free/ Annual pass: Adult ¥1,020, University student: ¥510 Access: Hokutetsu bus: Kanazawa Station to Owari-cho or Hashiba-cho, and walk for 3 min/ Loop bus (R-Loop): Kanazawa Station to Hashiba-cho (Kinjoro) and walk for 1 min/ Flat bus (Konohana route): Kanazawa Station to Citizen’s Culture Museum and walk for 5min.
